This is an excellent product. I recently got this piece to complete the kitty condo I have been building for my 2 cats, a 3 year old brother and sister. They love to hide under it or sit on top of it and watch birds. The hammocks are much sturdier than they look- both of my carts can lay together on one of them (and my male is a chunker at 13 lbs!). I've been getting these for over a year now, and have never had anything rip or tear. Using the scratching posts makes it wobble a little, but it has never toppled.
