We were unsure of how our 55-pound pit bull mix would react to this, since she ate her first dog bed 5 years ago as a puppy. But within minutes of unpacking this bed, she was snuggled in it and taking a nap. She's lounging in it now with her head rested on the bolster, which also seems very comfy for her. It's the perfect size, even though we thought it might be on the small side when we ordered it. The fabric is so soft and I wish they made one in my size.
