I got this item because of the description, where it states that this dog bed is for dogs up to 100 pounds. I have an 82 pound Bernese Mountain Dog, and only half of her body fits on this bed! However, I also have a 45 pound Syberian Husky and she fits perfectly! Actually, she loves it as she can curl up and be comfortable. So thank goodness I needed a bed for both of them, and my Husky could use it, if not I would have definetly return it. If you have a dog larger than 50 pounds, I would not get this item, as I can assure you it will not fit.
