This is an OK dog bed. I bought it for our baby shih tzu Filbert, now almost 3, who had torn the stuffing out of his current bed when he was really young. Our older shih tzu Wallie has an oval Woolrich bed, which is made very well; has thick cushioning and good fabric. I was hoping to find something comparable, as Woolrich doesn't appear to make this style of bed any longer. The Petmate Oval Lounger arrived today and while the fabric seems durable and very soft and overall it is reasonably made, I was hoping for a thicker cushion and foam pad. But, honestly it looks exactly like the picture.
