My dogs love this bed and I would too if it were easier to wash. I have successfully taken it to the laundromat and it comes out beautifully but as most of us who own big dogs wish for, a cover that we could unzip and throw in the washer at home would be less of a hassle. If this bed was just a bit smaller it would be perfect! It is cushy with 9" of padding and my dog loves the bolster. It is everything it is advertised to be for a dog larger than my 86 lb black lab. Because my lab tends to lay on one side rather than in the middle of the bed and there's approx. 8" of room to spare, the stuffing humps up on the portion she is not lying on and it looks like its trying to throw her out. Doesn't look too comfortable. As long as she lays in the middle there isn't a problem. Wish this had come in a 44"-48" size. Think she would be much more comfortable.
