I got this for my cat (he's a big cat, but he fits in it fine if he curls up instead of lying sprawled out) and it's super soft and fluffy. I wish I had a huge person-sized one for myself because, seriously, it's very cozy. You could probably use this for a small dog, too. Actually, I'm fairly certain you could. A *really* small dog, though. Not sure how durable this is, I just bought it, but it seems like it'll last. Also, I feel it's worth mentioning the price tag on this bed is very accommodating.
